Rosehill DVBS

The children who attended one year in pic.
Each summer we usually had DVBS in our church in town. I helped with it. But, with the church being ten miles from our home it proved to be a lot of running around and as the children grew older there wasn't as much time for this.
So, what was the answer for this. I did some research and found that CSSM had teams of teachers who went out to teach in different places.
South of our place was the old Rosehill school which seemed a good place to hold a DVBS. There were quite a few families with children south of us to the river who had even further to go to town. So, when I suggested we try having DVBS here they agreed. We applied and CSSM sent us two girls each year for a number of years and we had very successful DVBS here.

The girls stayed at our house or with one of the other families.
We had a good turn out of 20 -25 students. The DVBS ran all day for a week. The children enjoyed the setting and learnt a lot during that week. Friday we had a closing program with a full house.
Everyone was happy with this and we didn't have to drive so much. It was such a blessing to be involved. God was so good.
